You know, we are giving all these gifts to our kids so that they can be excited for a few minutes, but ultimately what we are doing is crowding our house with more work. I had reached the point where I didn’t feel like a mom so much, but like a manager of stuff. I spend so much time, especially around the holidays, just dealing with all of the toys and goodies that come into our house that I don’t get to enjoy the season because I’m too busy working.
Join Stephanie and Jama, author of the post A Friendly Holiday Suggestion From a Mom with Too Much Stuff, which originally published on our sister site, Chattanooga Moms Blog, as they discuss everything that comes with being a mom during the holidays.
From gift giving to building memories and all the while trying to embrace the joy of the season and not focusing on the stress that ensues. So here’s to making (or at least giving it a good attempt) the holidays truly Merry & Bright!
