Day In 5 Words :: Chaotic. Loud. Coffee. Prioritizing. Frenetic.
Major Life Influence :: My husband, actually! He’s always been such a supportive presence and cheerleader of what I do and he is great at calming me down and steering me straight when I am going off course.
Go-To Mom Hack :: I don’t know if it’s a “mom hack,” but I am all about that Panera Rapid Pick-Up life. Place the order, park, grab the bag and go!
Biggest Guilty Pleasure :: A glass of bold cabernet and dark chocolate
Favorite Vacation Spot :: American Players Theater in Spring Green, WI is easily my favorite place in the state. It’s a world class, classical theather, set on top of a hill among the trees. It’s exactly how Shakespeare is meant to be experienced and theater under the stars is nothing short of magical! The University of Wisconsin campus comes in a close second since I spent four years at college there and fell madly in love with everything about it. (Not vacations, but definitely two of my favorite places to be.)

Whether it is through the friendships on the Contributor Team or encouragement for a reader through a post or in helping establish a connection with a local organization, it is so awesome to see that what we are doing is actually making a difference. As moms, we are more connected than ever, but that connection can be exactly what breeds comparison and conflict too. Through the website, our goal is to not only showcase the perspectives of a diverse group of moms, but to be a place where a community can thrive.
