City Moms Blog Network Announces Launch of
Waco Moms Blog

Site is the 66th to join the fast-growing network of parenting resource sites

March 20, 2017

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. City Moms Blog Network announces the addition of Waco Moms Blog in Texas – the 66th site to join this national network of parenting resources websites. Waco Moms Blog goes live on Monday, March 20, 2017, under the leadership of Carrie Maddux and Allison Mack.

Waco Moms Blog will provide valuable parenting resources and encouragement to moms in the city made famous by the HGTV show, Fixer Upper. Carrie Maddux, a former contributor to nearby Austin Moms Blog, where Allison Mack is Owner and Founder, recently relocated to Waco and discovered a void in area resources for local moms.

Carrie Maddux

“It was a no-brainer to start another City Moms Blog Network site in Waco as soon as I moved here,” said Carrie Maddux, Waco Moms Blog Co-Founder. “We hope to be the number one resource for moms in the Waco area as we connect moms and provide a safe and authentic place to come together. We want to show both locals and visitors what Waco has to offer.”

Allison Mack

“With our experience with Austin Moms Blog, we felt that the Waco area lacked a resource specifically for moms,” said Allison Mack, Austin Moms Blog Owner & Founder and Waco Moms Blog Co-Founder. “There are moms who have lived in Waco their whole life, moms who relocate for a career, and everything in between. Waco Moms Blog will bring moms together to provide a unique resource for mom in every season of life.”

City Moms Blog Network now boasts 66 sites nationwide and millions of readers each month. At each site, a local mom, like Maddux or Mack, sits at the helm and recruits more local moms to contribute content and offer expertise in all topics associated with motherhood. All City Moms Blog Network site owners are connected to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs running sites across the country. This community of moms, all dedicated to connecting moms in their own cities, work together to make sure each site is successful.

Stephanie Flies

“We are thrilled to welcome Waco Moms Blog to our sisterhood of city mom blogs,” said Stephanie Flies, City Moms Blog Network founder and director. “Moms in the greater Waco area now have an excellent resource for events, advice and connection with nearby moms traveling through this motherhood journey together.”

City Moms Blog Network began with Scottsdale Moms Blog in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2010, where the unique community blogging approach caught on quickly and moms across the country asked to replicate the model in their communities. The 66 sites in the City Moms Blog Network sisterhood represent hundreds of moms as owners, thousands as contributors and millions as readers.
