What Our Sister Sites Are Saying...
When I started Oklahoma City Moms Blog over 3 years ago, I really didn’t understand how it was going to change my life! I am now a small business owner, who gets to work with so many amazing women from across the nation and in my local city! I have become friends with moms in all walks of life, many of whom I never would have met had it not been for OKCMB. I also get to work closely with local businesses that I already love. But honestly, I would not be able to do my job without the team at City Moms Blog Network, who make running this business so much easier! They have helped make my dreams come true of being my own boss and contribute to our family financially, while still being able to be very active in my kids’ and home life!

Starting a sister site was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made – for my family and for my longtime desire to have a flexible entrepreneurial role while make a lasting impact on my community. I truly had no idea what to expect when I first committed to this venture, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else. I am able to utilize and sharpen my professional strengths and skills, while still being able to focus on my number one priority – my family. Though some days are a whirlwind of meetings, sales proposals, and event management, I’m able to do those things while on the run to a doctor’s appointment or a toddler in tow.
CMBN has been instrumental in the success of my business by not only providing resources and technical support, but by connecting me to hundreds of other business-minded women across the country who are working together to fulfill the same mission: to connect moms in our communities. Not only do I count on these women for brainstorming, resources, and support – but I see them as inspiration, role models, and friends.

City Moms Blog Network is a community for moms to come together. We share joy, experience, grief, humor, and overall this life we know it as Mom. Being a mom is the most important role any woman can ever play and while it is the most rewarding it can sometimes feel lonely. Being able to create a locally focused resource for my community to connect moms to one another and local businesses has afforded my partner and I to do what we refer to as empower joyful mamas. Without the power of our Sisterhood behind us inspiring, encouraging, and driving us we would not be as successful as we have been in creating those connections.

I had been trying to figure out a way to start an online resource for Boston area moms that I was excited to read, but didn’t know how to take the first step. A CMBN article came my way along with a note from a friend suggesting I start a site. After doing my research, I knew this was the perfect role for me and the perfect company to partner with. I love that I have built an incredible community, learned about so many great businesses right in my own backyard and get to connect moms to one another and businesses to help them in their mothership role.
Being part of CMBN has given me incredible flexibility to be with my family, allowed me to be my own boss and helped me grow (both personally and professionally) in ways I never thought possible. The resources and support can’t be beat, and I am so proud and excited to do my job every single day.

By starting a locally focused parenting website in my city, doors were opened that I never even knew existed. I have become a small business owner, met unbelievable women, and heard stories that have taken my breath away. Each day I wake up knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of those around me, and I strive to empower my team of writers, the local businesses I work with, and even myself – to be the absolute best that we can be. I feel so blessed to know that my full time job is simply being a mother and bringing the mothers around me together in a unique and powerful way. My journey has been a long and winding one, but finally…I am right where I need to be.
