Fun Ways to Announce Your Pregnancy

IMG_7102

First of all, let me say – YES… that’s right! My husband and I are expecting… TWINS! It came as quite the shock to us when the ultrasound tech nonchalantly said ‘Okay, there are two.’ My initial thought was ‘TWO WHAT?!’ But sure enough, there were and are two tiny, precious little peanuts growing in my belly. Admittedly, it took us a little time to get past the shock of it all and to get to the excited phase that we are at now. So here we are at the end of our first trimester and I decided it was time to make our big announcement… but first I wanted to have a few fun pics to share!

  1. We live in a smaller town and a family friend went to the population sign and had one child hold a sign with +1 the other child had the due date and the parents were in the photo too.

    • Thanks Sarah! Prayers are definitely appreciated!! And I will probably need them after the babies are born and I have 3 babies under the age of 2! 😉

  2. Congrats!! So exciting. My sister is having twins at the end of the year. For her pregnancy announcement she did a play on the “Knocked up” poster since they aren’t married. Super cute! Best wishes for a smooth pregnancy 🙂

    • Thank you! And what a fun idea – I’ve seen a few where people have used movie posters – SO creative! Good luck to your sister and congrats to being an Auntie!
